A fun browse for teenagers and classical students!

As a student of history with a love (and a minor!) in classics, and tiny child at heart I loved this series of books, culminating within the Last Olympian--maybe the most effective within the series. the plain comparison is to Harry Potter, however these books are extremely one thing completely different. they seem to be a very little lighter, and somewhat a lot of fanciful, and simply a lot of 'colorful.' they're shorter and and simply a lot of fun with less dark overtones (imo.)
This last story brings a couple of conclusion to the total saga, with one battle when another, answers all of your question and even offers our heroes the accolades they richly deserve. It looks its the last one within the series and thats somewhat unhappy.
