If you thought the Capitol could not get to any extent further twisted... you were wrong.
The highly-anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games is that the quite novel that has you pulling back to require a breath and go, "How did the author consider this?" (if you'll be able to stop turning the pages long enough to breathe)
Catching fireplace picks up right where Hunger Games left off. Unrest within the Districts is growing at an alarming pace and Katniss unwittingly finds herself the figurehead for the movement against the Capitol. The characters you liked come for the sequel and also the reader should endure every indignity the Capitol inflicts upon them. it's painful, tortuous, imaginative and motivating. it's everything The Hunger Games was and additional. It each answers your lingering queries and creates numerous new ones. It challenges you to suppose and creates such feelings of empathy for the characters that whenever I had to place the book down, i used to be genuinely worried for leaving the characters hanging and could not wait to select it copy simply so that they may continue fighting for his or her lives and freedoms.
Everything I loved concerning The Hunger Games is gift in Catching Fire: the distinctive and engrossing storyline; characters thus totally and fantastically described they begin to feel like friends; a fantastical setting that's each real and sad; and language that's simple to scan and however conveys such a profound that means. it's action, romance, horror, hope, despair and, most of all, humanity. it's sci-fi and politics however, not like plenty of books on the market, they're not "in your face" and are utterly approachable.
Due to parts of violence and a few light-weight romantic scenes, i might suggest it for 13+. That being said, i might suggest it for ANYONE 13+ of any reading style or background: as a bookseller and a recent library faculty graduate, these are the books I notice best to suggest to anyone I meet.
I am on the sting of my seat anticipating the third and final book to come back out. when reading Catching fireplace, i do know you may be too.
